I want my first bowling ball. Where do I start?
Start with a personal consultation. We discuss how often you bowl, what you want to achieve and your budget. Then we select suitable equipment and discuss individual drilling.
Do I need an appointment for every question?
Visits to Remscheid are by prior appointment only. At our other locations you are also welcome without an appointment during the published opening hours.
Can I test new balls before buying?
Yes. All four locations keep most new SPI-family releases available as test balls on an ongoing basis. You can test them on the lanes, independently of Matchmaker Days. Contact your location to arrange the model and appointment. Test ball use is free; you pay for lane rental and rental shoes if needed.
When does my ball need maintenance?
That depends on the coverstock, use and desired ball motion. If the reaction weakens or changes, we assess your ball and discuss whether surface work or oil extraction makes sense.
What does testing a ball cost?
Use of our available test balls is free. You pay the bowling center for lane rental and rental shoes if needed. Ask about your preferred model before visiting. Learn more.
Can another location access my drilling specifications?
We record relevant information and drilling specifications in Spectre by Buffa. Our trained team can access these records across locations for your consultation and fitting. Learn more.
What does “Out of Box” resurfacing mean?
We follow the original manufacturer finish: the specified grit and polish where applicable. We choose the appropriate process for your ball. Service & prices.
What is included in VIP and VIP+?
VIP covers one year of resurfacing for all balls you own and is tied to you personally. VIP+ also includes oil extraction. VIP costs €125 and VIP+ €175, including VAT. Service & prices.
How long is my appointment?
